Transparent .xpm

Postby zizban » Tue Feb 26, 2008 4:02 am

Not sure this is the right sub forum.

Anyway, I am trying to make a transparent .xpm for a dock. I can't figure out how to do this in the Gimp.

You can't have transparent XPMs - use a PNG.

Sorry -- this needs clarifying. You can have transparency, but not reliably. You can set '#transparent' (or indeed 'none') for colour options, but you're better off using a PNG.
