is it possible to capture a double click event? I seem to be looking in the wrong place, if it is possible…
I want to capture it ALWAYS, similar to binding a key on the keyboard… and I am wondering if this type of functionality is possible…

Not if you still want to be able to do single clicks. By the time fvwm would know if you did a double click or a single click it would be to late to pass the single click on.
