function to remember focus after switching to a new page

I am really sorry about how long it has taken me to reply to this — it seems it got lost in my list of things to answer.

and it seems to work fine for moving windows between pages. But then switching between pages stops working: if I switch to a page where there is no focused windows, then all windows on other pages lost their “focused status”, ie when I switch back to a page, the last focused window on that page is no longer focused. Can someone please give me a hint what I can try?

Unfortunately that hideous suggestion is messy – and I suspect what you’re seeing there – about the focus issue is simply due to the fact that nothing in your config checks to ensure there are any windows on the current page when you check, i.e.:

+ I None (CurrentPage) Break
