Fvwm Taskbar

Hello everybody, i have a problem with fvwmtaskbar.
It doesn’t take all the width of my screen. Here a screenshot : img165.exs.cx/img165/3906/fvwm2tv.png
And here my config :

Style “FvwmTaskBar” NoTitle, !Handles, !Borders, Sticky, WindowListSkip,
CirculateSkip, StaysOnBottom, FixedPosition, FixedSize, !Iconifiable

Module :

DestroyModuleConfig FvwmTaskBar: *
*FvwmTaskBar: Geometry +0-0
*FvwmTaskBar: Rows 1
*FvwmTaskBar: Font “xft:Sans:pixelsize=12:minispace=True:antialias=True”
*FvwmTaskBar: SelFont “xft:Sans:Bold:pixelsize=12:minispace=True:antialias=True”
*FvwmTaskBar: StatusFont “xft:Sans:Bold:pixelsize=12:minispace=True:antialias=True”
*FvwmTaskBar: Colorset 9
*FvwmTaskBar: IconColorset 9
*FvwmTaskBar: FocusColorset 9
*FvwmTaskBar: TipsColorset 9
*FvwmTaskBar: UseSkipList
*FvwmTaskBar: UseIconNames
*FvwmTaskBar: ShowTips
*FvwmTaskBar: StartName FVWM
*FvwmTaskBar: StartMenu FvwmRootMenu
*FvwmTaskBar: Button Title ATerm, Icon mini/xterm.png, Action (Mouse 1) FvwmATerm
*FvwmTaskBar: Action Click3 Menu FvwmWindowOpsMenu
*FvwmTaskBar: StartIcon mini/fvwm.png

You can see a space in the right bottom corner. How do you explain that ?

Probably a FvwmTaskBar bug as I’ve seen that before, my recommendation is to use FvwmIconMan to create a taskbar it’s much more flexible and versatile…

Ok thank you I’ll find out informations about FvwmIconMan.

Here’s an example, stol^H^H^H^Htaken from Tavis Ormandy’s .fvwm2rc:

DestroyModuleConfig FvwmIconMan: *

*FvwmIconMan: ButtonGeometry 24x23
*FvwmIconMan: FocusAndSelectButton down
*FvwmIconMan: FocusButton down
*FvwmIconMan: IconButton down
*FvwmIconMan: PlainButton down
*FvwmIconMan: SelectButton down

disable default binding of “Iconify”

*FvwmIconMan: Action Mouse 0 N sendcommand Nop

redefine buttons 1, 2 and 3.

*FvwmIconMan: Action Mouse 2 N sendcommand Thumbnail
*FvwmIconMan: Action Mouse 1 N sendcommand “Iconify off”, sendcommand RaiseLower, sendcommand FlipFocus
*FvwmIconMan: Action Mouse 3 N sendcommand “Popup MenuFvwmWindowOps Rectangle +$left+$top 0 -100m”

Or, if you want to use the FvwmTaskBar, you can use

*FvwmTaskBar: AutoStick

It sometimes make the taskbar to warp to top of the screen, but restarting fvwm fixes that.
