Golden XCursors 3D

Hi guys,
I have Golden Xcursors installed and it works only when mouse pointer is over windows, buttons, taskbar, but not in root window. Tried CursorStyle command but there is no pixmap in installation directory. Is it possible to get it to work in the root window too?

This isn’t an FVWM issue directly, I’m afraid. Other than googling around, there’s not much else I can suggest. Sorry.
