Anyone got a problem with the error for the syntax DesktopName 0 whatever ?
Apparently it always gives me a syntax error and it’s becoming annoying.
Are you not using FVWM 2.5.X? Can you be more specific – i.e., actually show them from your logfile rather than putting a vague possibly/maybe attempt here? Upload your .fvwm2rc file to a pastebin if you think it will help.

No, im not using 2.5.x
Im using 2.4 since that is the package that came with my distro. I cant post my rc file since I dont have access on the machinem and it’s very sparse in terms of connectivity, but the file im working after (and the guide) is this :

Im getting some errors on
EwmhBaseStruts and DesktopName … for now at least. I have a feeling more will follow 
This is why – DesktopName is only in 2.5.X, if you want to name your desks you must do so via FvwmPager with the “Label” attribute.
Also, FVWM 2.4.X has no concepts of EWMH so you’re also buggered in that regard.
You really want FVWM 2.5.X
