Thumbnails, Focus etc. some basic questions

1.The following are my Thumbnail and DeThumbnail functions. Now my problem is, that the
thumbnail images aren’t removed, after DeThumbnail has run (if it runs, which I don’t know). Can you tell me, where the problem is?

DestroyFunc DeThumbnail
AddToFunc DeThumbnail
+ I PipeRead "echo WindowStyle Icon \\$\\[Icon-$[w.id]\\]"
+ I UnsetEnv Icon-$[w.id]

I’m using the Thumbnail function in FvwmIconifyOrShade and FvwmMoveOrIconify and the DeThumbnail function by

DestroyModuleConfig FvwmEvent: * *FvwmEvent: deiconify DeThumbnail

I am assuming you haven’t started FvwmEvent up in your StartFunction:

AddToFunc StartFunction I Module FvwmEvent

2. My thumbnails are all of different sizes. How can I make them one size?

Change the option to convert.

3. When I start a program or a window opens I want this new window to get the focus, how can I realize that?

Style * GrabFocus

4. After clicking on the Iconify Button of a window it takes really long until the window is iconified. Somebody any suggestions?

Yes, that’s the thumbnail function itself. Search these forums for other, more purportedly faster implementations.
