If I understand this correctly you only need AutoStick if you want to be able to drag FvwmTaskBar around, if you don’t want to move it you should use an appropriate Geometry string (only the placement part of this geometry string is of importance as FvwmTaskBar always takes up the full length of the screen edge it’s positioned at so the heigth and the width can be omitted)
