WindowList Alt+Tab does not stay up in FreeBSD does in Linux

I have the EXACT same fvwm2 configuration on my FreeBSD as I do on my Linux Slackware.

But one difference that annoys me is that on FreeBSD when I Hit Alt+Tab and then let go of the Alt the WindowList disappears.

On my Linux it actually stays up when I let go of Alt.

I would much rather preffer it stay up so I would not have to hold down the Alt key.

Anyone know how I might do that?

FVWM version 2.5.16

Key Tab A M WindowList

But I bet you don’t have the same FVWM versions – I couldn’t quite work out from your post whether the FVWM version of 2.5.16 pertained to Slackware or FreeBSD – the latter ships the (somewhat aging) 2.4.X version of FVWM. IIRC, the behaviour you’re describing was indicative of the 2.4.X series, but don’t quote me on that.

Do you have something like:

MenuStyle WindowList SelectOnRelease ....

Present?

They are the same version, though compilation differ a tad.

FreeBSD:

Linux:
