Desktop Boundary Edge Resistance?

I am getting there - I am in fact inspired by fvwm - I am now working in this wm all day at work where previously I always hugged the glossy prefabricated familiarity of gnome; now I am bit by bit adding the things I need as I go and loving the process.

I recall being able to turn on edge resistance to moving between desktop/workspaces in the past - how is this done with fvwm?

You will want to ude the EdgeResistance command. It takes two arguments. The first is a milliseconds resistance, i.e. how long the pointer has to be on the edge before flipping, and the second is the resitance, in pixels, for moving windows off screen.
