I’m running Arch Linux on a Dell Venue 11 pro, which has a touch screen. The touch screen is working out of the box with kernel 4.4.
Using fvwm1 and the goodstuff button bar, buttons work, if touched by fingers or by Dell’s active stylus.
With fvwm2 and fvwmbuttons, buttons work only, if touched by Dell’s active stylus. I can get Mouse 1 and 2 events, depending on whether the switch on the stylus is pressed or not, when tapping on the button. Touching the buttons with fingers only moves the cursor to the corresponding button.
In both cases touching the root window with fingers works.
Is there a solution to get finger touch work with fvwmbuttons ?
