how do I change the icon for firefox? [fixed]

I tried

Style firefox* Icon whatever.png
but it still uses that default blue globe.

You need IconOverride, like this:

Style firefox * IconOverride, Icon whatever.png

It didn’t work. It still has the default icon.

Style “irefox” MiniIcon mini/firefox.png, EWMHMiniIconOverride

Ah, I thought you were trying to change the Icon, keep in mind that there is a difference between Icon and MiniIcon…you might want to read up on it in the manpage :slight_smile:
