idesk/fvwm niggles...

I have idesk supplying desktop icons for both fluxbox and fvwm. With fluxbox I have
transparent icon labels and my desktop looks quite nice, but with fvwm I have white text on a black background, a la Win95. Also, the icons stay on top of windows when I slide one around on the screen, instead of being covered up. Just wondering how I can cure these two relatively small niggles, particularly the black boxes behind the icon labels.

Not much – the application (idesk) has to provide the transparency. As for lowering the icons, run FvwmIdent on an icon – what does it say?
