My bug report bounced

Last week I tried to report a bug but I got the report in return. Does anyone know anything about this?

What was the bug? You should just post to the fvwm-workers mailing list (see fvwm.org for more details.)

I noticed that in an earlier posting to the fvwm mailing list. I sent the report to fvwm-workers as well but before I had confirmed the ml request. May have to resend… How long is the delay until postings show up in the ml archive?

The bug report was this:

Problem moving detached qt 4 toolbars vertically.

This can be reproduced with for instance Qt4 designer, but any qt 4
compiled binaries with detachable toolbars should do.

First detach a toolbar and move it somewhere on the screen. Then release
and select again and try to move left or right. The position is locked
sideways, but can be moved vertically.

I haved tried a number of 2.5-versions and they all produce this error.
Version 2.4.20 does not.

It made it to the list. Is patience something you’re still learning?

uh, since I posted before I had confirmed I didn’t get my own post, and since the archive did not show it I couldn’t know if my post would be refused or not. If I knew that the archive would be updated within the next x hours I would have waited…

Right – depending on where you sent your mail from (account-wise) some accounts will filter duplicate Message-Ids by default which means you won’t receive a copy of your email. It will appear in the archives once the mailing list software has circulated it.

In this case, you’ve nothing to worry about.

I’m closing this now as it’s becoming rather pointless.
