Could you share the config settings for your window decoration? And which terminal do you use, and how to you get this terminal transparency?
I will put the config as as I can. The terminal that I use is aterm and about the transparency you can read in the manual for that specific terminal.
Well, I use aterm too, but I am just a bit too lazy to see which things I have to set to get a terminal looking like yours. I like your one very much and think it would be the simplest way if you would just give me your config.

I’ve been playing with my fvwm config and I changed the title bar:

as you can see the close button changes… It has been made in vectors.

The thing I can’t figure out is how to get the degree sign to show up after the temps… getting this error:
UnicodeDecodeError: ‘ascii’ codec can’t decode byte 0xc2 in position 2: ordinal not in range(128)

- I can’t see the window title of the active window because its font is too dark. How can I set it brighter?
- The window buttons don’t use the color of the title bar, although I’ve set the UseTitleStyle option.

if you are using my config check in the fvwm2rc.setting over there specify the colorset for fonts

I’ve just solved the second problem too - well, almost, but I’m going to do the remaining stuff tomorrow.

Do you remember how you made the window title background on the first screenshot? Because I currently have a title background with one color, and it doesn’t look as good as yours. Did you use a pixmap or something like that?
if you are talking about the very very first screenshot then I used pixmap on the rest I didn;t
