Some new windows always hidden?

Apologies for the rather general question, but at the moment I’m sorta searching in the dark…

I’m having a problem where newly created windows from some programs are always invisible. No icon, no window, and they don’t show up in the FvwmPager. They do however show up in the task/window list, and when I select the hidden windows from that menu, they do magically appear.

Any idea what might be causing this? I’m running fvwm 2.5.19 under gnome.

Anything setting a style of WindowListSkip? That doesn’t explain why they’d then show up in the task or window list, mind. Do you get the same problem running FVWM outside of GNOME? Can you try using 2.5.26 version of FVWM?
